WELCOME!

Rebekah Walendzak spent her early performance years exploring her craft in classical and contemporary theaters in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Always one to follow her own path, she left the comfort and stability of the Bay and moved to pursue her comic point of view at the world renowned Second City in Chicago, IL.

During her years in the Windy City, she studied improvisation and sketch comedy writing where she made a shocking discovery that she had a lot on her mind and a need to express it comedically.   Second City not only helped Rebekah explore her comic point of view, it also became a touchstone in her life when she began teaching at the training center in 2008.   A major highlight of the over ten years she spent in Chicagoland, USA is the co-founding of Bare Boned Theatre where she created/served as show runner for “The Ville,” Chicago’s only live LGBT soap opera and provided roles and casting with a laser focus on diversity,

Now a resident of Los Angeles, Rebekah has turned her sights to TV & Film.  She has been featured on reality shows such as “Collection Intervention” on Syfy and “Makeover Wars” on The Stylish.  You may remember her as the giggling mother in one of a series of Comcast commercials starring the late, Dennis Farina or as the borderline racist, meddling neighbor in “America’s Worst Tenants.”

Along with The Second City, Rebekah has studied at the Lesly Kahn Institute, The Actors’ Gang, CalShakes and has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from San Jose State University.

Rebekah continues to enjoy teaching sketch comedy with The Second City in Hollywood and online as well as writing workshops with actors.  To take her online comedy writing course, visit www.secondcity.com.   Rebekah is also available for individual comedy writing coaching.  To hire Rebekah please contact her via the CONTACT tab on this website!
